SIMPLEX 7000 Series Auxiliary Locks


Simplex 7000 Series The 7000 Series pushbutton lock provides convenient auxiliary indoor/outdoor protection for commercial and residential applications. This lockset can be mounted above existing primary locksets or used alone. The standard model is equipped with a deadbolt (manual relock) and a saw-resistant, hardened-steel insert. Deadlocking latch models with automatic relock are also available.

SIMPLEX 7000 Series Auxiliary Locks
Compact, stylish, and secure, the 7000 Series operates only when the correct buttons are pushed in the proper sequence and the turn knob is rotated to retract the deadbolt or latch.

Construction:Weather resistant; all-metal cast front housing; force-proof clutch-protected thumbturn
Door thickness: 1 3/8" to 2 1/4" (35 mm to 57 mm).

Strike: Models 7002 and 7008 include a strike plate. Model 7004 includes a curved lip strike plate. Model 7006 includes a box strike for in-swing wood doors and a flat strike plate for out-swing wood doors.

Installation:Through bore for housing: 1 3/8" (35 mm) dia. Cross bore for latch (except 7006): 1" (25 mm) dia. Through bore for combination change sleeve 3/4" (19 mm) dia. Minimum stile required: 4" (102 mm).

Control: Use a standard Phillips screwdriver to change combination. Combination can only be changed from the inside.

Reversibility: Latch and hand are field reversible.
