8200 Line Mortise Lever Lock

SARGENT Mortise Locks are designed with high quality components to provide high security, performance and durability. They are well suited for commercial facilities with exposed parameter doors, such as warehouses, factories and malls. SARGENT Mortise Locks are the result of over a century of experience in manufacturing hardware.
  • Non-handed lock, easily re-handed without opening the lockbody
  • Non-handed stainless steel guardbolt
  • Non-handed stainless steel latchbolt one-piece anti-friction design with 3/4 in. (19mm) throw
  • Stainless steel deadbolt with 1 in. (25mm) projection and hardened steel rollers
  • Lockbody case and cap made of 12 gauge heavy duty steel to resist lock disformation and vandalism
  • Inside front full 1/8 in. (3mm) cold rolled steel to resist vandalism of latchbolt and deadbolt
  • Non-handed curved lip strike - one strike for all functions
  • Replaceable hubs and spring cartridge for long cycle life
  • All lever and knob trims are thru-bolted for increased security and durability
  • Fewer parts in lockbody and trim to facilitate servicing
  • Spindles are designed to break only under excessive force. Break away action prevents lock or lever damage (replaceable)
  • Available through SARGENT's Turboship (Quick Ship) Program

    Also available with the new freewheeling design. (Style-FE) Prevents vandals from gaining entry. Close to indestructible lock! Freewheeling design prevents spindle damage; eliminates the need for repair in high-abuse areas. Great for doors where excessive/abusive force might be applied(e.g., schools, universities, public buildings, back doors/ businesses, etc.) Freewheeling design allows outside handle to rotate freely (down to 70 degrees) in locked mode & return to horizontal position.
